Hi. My name is Chris Cowan.
I’m an award-wanting creative hobbyist who happily serves as a corporate cog in the beautiful machine that is Capitalism.
When I’m not doing my part to ensure wealth inequality, I enjoy podcasting, writing cozy music, creating funny videos, voice acting, foot modeling, drawing comics… pretty much anything creative.
I’ve written for The Babylon Bee and Not the Bee, voice acted for Manscaped and the Chicago Bears, and one time Emmy-winning actor Tony Shalhoub attended my high school play.
I love being a dad. I have 3 incredible sons: Hunter, Mason, and Connor. Hunter is a super sweet guy with mental and physical disabilities and a contagious belly laugh. His twin, Mason, constantly blows me away with his diverse technical and creative abilities and sense of humor. Connor, the youngest, is a performer with a lot of personality, and astounding grit. Hunter passed away at 15, after living the fullest life he possibly could. I miss him dearly, but I’m so thankful he is no longer experiencing the limitations of his disabilities.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to appreciate the value of hearing peoples’ stories. This inspired my podcast ShiftStorm, and on a daily basis, encourages me to find small ways to make people feel valued. Connection is love in its smallest form. I often write about it in my songs.
